I’ve recently started a media initiative called Chronic Life Media following over a decade working in patient education and advocacy. Chronic Life Media shares experiences of people living with chronic illness. We aim to create awareness through storytelling, and we hope to:

• Challenge stigma
• Expose system issues and barriers
• Remind people they are not alone
• Help influence change

I also consult with nonprofit organizations to help them engage and build audiences and communities.

I dabble in writing projects — personal essays about running , and writing about music and literary influences of musicians.

I’ve recently returned to the hardy city of Chicago after many years on the east coast.
